I formed Mindful Wellness Counseling because I believe in the need to connect with our spiritual and true selves with purposeful attention in our pursuit of well being.
I have been in the field of Mental Health and Chemical Dependency since 2007. This experience has made me an expert in helping those who struggle with poor coping strategies, unhealthy boundaries, and poor self-esteem. I love working with those are deeply wanting to change their lives and are willing to work from the inside out to achieve their dreams and visions.
My therapy model focuses on taking action! I engage humor, genuine regard, empathy, mindfulness and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) informed techniques to achieve the individual therapy goals set.
The amazing thing about therapy is that it reminds us that we are not alone. We are not crazy. We need support, empathy, understanding, and an outlet to process this crazy thing called “life”.
